A few days ago I saw that my old Smartphone had its screen dislodged from its frame. I just suspected that the battery got bloated again because it is just an aftermarket battery with same size but different configuration which is why its life is too short unlike the original battery which lasts for weeks and its incredible.

I panicked because the battery might explode and so I planned to take the matter in my own hand. I wanted to take the battery no matter what happens but I failed at first attempt because I forgot to take off the SIM tray which is needed otherwise the back cover will not be removed as it will act like a pin lock for the back cover.

After a couple of days I was able to take off the back cover which should be easy but since the battery inside is pushing the back cover out, it did came out after I pulled it with a surgical "long nose" but it damaged the SIM tray. It is OK for me since I will not be using SIM card with the Smartphone any longer.

Then after watching a YouTube tutorial for taking of this Smartphone's model or I guess similar model to it, it then gave me the idea of dislodging the case which is actually easy for cellphone technicians but really so difficult for me because of my flimsy weak hands.

The key process was to pry open the small section of the back cover of the smartphone in the center bottom section where you insert the power plug so that you can insert a then guitar pick into it and then run it in the corner to proceed running it across the side of the Smartphone to dislodge the back cover.

In my case the bulge of the battery helped me to pray out the back cover so it came of so easy. My plan was to use the phone using the original power adaptor but it seems not working maybe because of the security feature of the charger but I will try of a battery bank can power it with a stable power source without the power loop.
