I now have to deal with my room having columns right smack on two sides of its walls because of a necessary adjustments

The laborers of our house is working on the five columns that are added because I cited to my brother that using the old decades-old columns with already rotted steel frame inside it will not going to make the house stand earthquakes although the architect has a different opinion which my brother had based his decision on not putting new foundations and columns.

The added foundations and columns are being created on the front side and backside of the house, two in front, two and the back and one in the center which is on the side of my what will soon to be my room. It should be on the corners of the room but since the old columns are used, the have to align the extra column to those columns or posts especially the center columns. So at the middle of the house (almost middle), I will be looking and dealing with look of the new column every time I wake up in the morning with how unsightly it will be for the remainder of my life.

I will definitely have to cope with it like I am thinking about having my steel frame bed to be redone to have a notch but I thought that the mattress cannot be re-done to have the exact notch in order to fit it to the protruding section of the extra column. So it will then for me to have my bed placed beside my new room's window or the other side.

I can't really post the plan of the room here because of my privacy concerns which is why I am just posting the ideas on how my room in particular will look like in the future. Again, the house is just small with only two bedrooms and is not really good for families with high count of family members or for couples planning to have children because of its numbers of rooms. That is why I realized only later that it was that hard to live in our old house because me and my brothers have to sleep in the same small room until we slept in the living room as my sister have to have her own room and my mother using the other one. My father in the other hand was always away working abroad and will only come home every two years for a work vacation or when he resigns for work only to go back working again otherwise we will not have money for the family's needs.
