Rainy days are too damn depressing, I needed more bright lights and heat because my hands get cold as well as my feet

This man catches fish by electrocuting them. He has a battery system on his back with a set of metal prods held by his hands for stunning fishes then he collects them manually. I have a friend farmer with two of his brothers with this kind of work, all they do is to catch fish this way almost everyday.
I've been under the blanket all afternoon and I guess the more I needed it during the night as of today and tomorrow morning because the rain makes things cooler. But the sky is outcast and grey and it is not hot anymore as the hot and dry season really ended just like that because time moves fast.
I just hope that no strong and weak typhoons will come but that is impossible. Here in my tropical country, we are visited with more than a dozen Typhoons in varying strengths, if it is not too windy, it is too rainy and the latter is what I am currently fearing because of many inconveniences it brings particularly for me and my parents.
But the lack of bright skies affects my thoughts and feelings because it makes me feel sad. It is depressing which by the way can be fixed with drinking coffee because of caffeine in coffee. However I am not drinking coffee like normal because it does affect my sleep and if I drink too much, I get palpitations. These palpitations reminds me of death and worries because it is felt. Normally we do not feel or aware of our heartbeats but if we do, it makes us feel bad, worried, and nervous, it is not good.
That is why I am just drinking coffee flavored sweet hot water. I regret it because I would miss the happy effects of caffeine but I want to sleep at dialysis or at least slumber deep enough to make the passage of time while hooked-up at dialysis faster. If I am under the influence of caffeine, time seems to pass slowly because I cannot sleep and has to wait for every second to pass until the end of treatment time, that is if I successfully lasted the four hours of dialysis treatment time.
Anyway, the hot days seems to make my body energized despite the discomfort but the opposite happens when it is cold brought by rainy days because I tend to sleep more like a bear wanting to hibernate. The issue also lies on the fact that I have less fat in my body and it gets too uncomfortable fast as my hands and feet gets cold. That is why at dialysis I am like a worm in its cocoon trying to insulate my body against the cold A/C.
The A/C system is always turned off by the nurses because it gets too cold inside the treatment area and some patients cannot tolerate the cold and they would ask the nurses to turn it off and sometimes the nurses would just feel it and so they turn it off without anybody asking.
In our home I do not know if I will ever want an A/C installed but maybe. It is just I am accustomed to hot days. I actually like a dry heat rather than a humid heat because what makes hot days hard to bear in my country was the presence of high humidity. I haven't experienced being in a room with low humidity but hot, it doesn't happen here.
On the other hand if the room is not that cool, it will turn hot for my feeling so it gets uncomfortable but with a few degrees lower, it gets uncomfortable as well for me too which is why I can never be too comfortable unless I can change the climate just for my liking and there is no such thing.
Yeah, the showers too, it is not enjoyable to take a shower nowadays even if I will use a pail of water with warm water in it because I like fresh water coming from the tap more than water from the pail so after coming out from the bathroom I will ask mother to give me a warm compress (hot water in a plastic bag and tied and put inside a thin cloth) which I use to warm-up my limbs again. God-willing I might use a water heater for the shower because my parents now can't take a bath without hot water.
Well anyway, at least the Sun shows itself from time to time like I was showing in my posts and at least it makes me feel happy with my brain again because grey skies makes me associate it with inconveniences and troubles and I had enough of all of it and not wanting anymore because I really had gone through enough with this peculiar life of mine.

I am always confused about your weather. I thought it was warm and humid. Do you feel cold because the house lacks of light and sunshine like the one I am living in?
It gets cold when it rains at night, maybe just right for other people but with my kind if thin body with not much fat as my insulation, I get cold.
If the sun would shine all day despite that it is supposed to be rainy season now, it will get hot and it really feels uncomfortable which is why I have to use electric fan all the time.
The interior of our house is dark, there isn't much any air circulation. My room's window faces a wall and only a few minutes of late afternoon sun gets in. It gets hot fast in here when the sun is showing and also gets cold fast especially at night when it is raining. Miss @wakeupkitty
I do understand that low body fat is a big problem with keeping the body at temperature. Indeed, the weather and also the house no longer play.
I never heard of coffee being good for the mood, but chocolate (cocoa) does help, though. I always took some along on long travels to cheer up the kids with, and today it still works.
Many feel down if the weather changes.
So a heater is on the list now?
The caffeine in coffee elevates the mood, I took caffeine pills before prior to my dialysis sessions and my reason was to make my blood pressure to elevate because of my IDH or hypotension issues during dialysis. Well on our way to the dialysis center I feel cheery.
A cup of coffee makes us cheery and I do not know why you don't notice it.
A heater is not an option, the electricity cost here in my country is very high. We just use blankets when we get cold because of the weather.
You wrote yourself you think about a heater for the water/shower.
Electricity is expensive where I live as well.
I once took those pills; they said it would keep me away while driving a long distance. It didn't work at all.
If coffee gives people a better mood, how come all those people are so grumpy? In Europe many drink coffee 24/7
Ah I thought you are referring to a room heater. Yes I will if God wills it to have a water heater for the shower because my parents now can't use the water from the tap directly for showering.
Caffeine pills works for making the brain alert like if you are listening to a lecture, you will be extra attentive rather than sleepy.
Maybe some people are naturally born grumpy even if the take powerful stimulants. so maybe Caffeine stimulates their grumpiness but certainly they will not get depressed.
