The laborers had taken down the roof yesterday and the foundation of pillars are ready for pouring of concrete

I can only take a glimpse into what is happening towards the building of our house when we go for my dialysis and back home because of my mobility issue. But I will try God-willing if I can visit it on Sunday if it will not be raining just to see for myself the developments of the small house.

One thing that I had observed was that the contractor immediately had put up the pillars or posts of the house before tearing down the concrete walls because the walls are still intact and only the windows, the corrugated roof,, and all the woodwork like the built-in cabinets of the rooms and the kitchen/dining area are taken off.

I am thinking that it will be easier for them to build the walls if they will make the old wall stand-up and then putting up the concrete pillars before tearing the old walls down and putting up the new walls. Maybe in doing so, it will be easier for them to put up the foundation rather than to dig it up all again to put up the base of the pillars and the walls.

What is good about the rooms now is that they will be separated by concrete and will allow me to paly loud music God-willing that I see the finished house and get to experience living in a new house. My only hope is that the plan for the house will not be changed otherwise it might look good for my taste because I already told my brother that the placement of door of my room will not be what the architect had designed.

It is for the reason that I want my bed to be placed for the convenience of my mother when she brings my food in my room rather than what she does in my old room where she walks around my bedside table and the two electric fans before being able to place my food near to my particular place in bed because my laptop had to be on my right side and it has to face a wall.

My mother noticed that our place there at the old house is different than here which we are staying right now because over there we do not have vegetation in front of the house as all are concrete and there are animals which gives us bad smells. But over here at least there are weeds and small trees which gives us fresh air and that is what I missed and probably won't get in my lifetime because I am already stuck living in this Barrio particularly in our compound which was a long time ago a house with a wide backyard. My only comfort will be if God wills it, is to have more places in our house which I can hang around or sit and maybe place a good plant like that small space which will be our new front of the house.
