RE: Reality That Exists Outside our Normal Perception?

Yes, I am familiar with James Randi, and his million dollar prize. In his case, I am "skeptical of the skeptic" because he had a personal stake in proving everyone a fraud: (1) not wanting to give up the money and (2) having a background as stage magician and illusionist, he had a cognitive bias towards everything being explainable as "trickery."

Proprioception is a good example of the extrasensory, beyond the current five senses. Remote viewing, as well. The US military studied and experimented with remote viewing for decades and there definitely were some cases that defied statistical variance.

Perhaps a "remnant" from the early days of Homo Sapiens, there's the "sense" of knowing that someone/something is watching us from behind, even though we can't see it. There are people who can accurately identify such a thing 65-70% of the time.

Most of us have experienced "getting a bad vibe" from someone we don't know at all, and yet it is like our bodies are sending us a "warning" of sorts.

Psychics and fortune tellers? Likely hoaxes. That said... I can only share this in very general terms for legal/disclosure reasons... my wife worked as a "special consultant" for large government organizations with 3 initials for many years, basically "warming" criminal investigation trails that had gone cold, through "unorthodox" means. She had an 80+% "hit rate."

While I am not some sort of "believer" in the supernatural, I do believe that human senses and their potential merit being studied under serious conditions, and not just thrown out as rubbish.

Wow, I think your wife is a very special person! I admire people with so much - let me call it empathy. Mostly they know more about me than I myself... ;-))
