Your words make me think of one of my all-time favourite bumper stickers: "The best things in life are not things!"

Sometimes I credit my mom's materialistic and status obsessed lifestyle with curing me of any lingering interests in "stuff," not that I don't appreciate fine hand made things. But most people who try to fill their inner voids and emptiness with things soon enough discover that it is just never enough.

I'd rather fill my world with the beauty around us; with real love and authentic connection... perhaps appreciated more because they seem so scarce in a world seemingly obsessed with superficialities.

I'm grateful that you are, Jaynie and that you get it. Thank you... for you.
