The invisible process

Hello family. I sat to think of something and I decided to share it here.

I've observed that nobody has ever seen growth happening. What we see is just the evidence of growth. You've never seen your hair grow. You've never seen your nails grow, but yet every other week, you are back at the salon, cutting, trimming, shaving, filing. That when you realize that growth accumulate quietly. It never announces itself, it just keeps working behind the scenes, away from prying eyes and beyond your impatience.

The problem is that, we often zoom in too much on our progress, We stare at our dreams the same way we stare at our reflection in the mirror. Almost as if you want to catch growth in the act. But we can never see it that way. Even the most miraculous transformation becomes visible in retrospect. One thing I've come to learn about progress is that, if you zoom too close, even success looks like stillness. That's why a lots of time, it takes other people to tell us you've changed, because growth is not an event, it is an accumulation.

You know that thing you do when you keep refreshing a page or an app. That's what most of us are doing with our process, we are staring at our seeds like a time lapse, forgetting that you don't have to see growth for it to be happening, you just have to stay planted. The evidence will surely come, it's not just on your timeline. You see! We live in a generation obsessed with immediacy,a generation that want to see the screenshots of progress, the visible metrics. And you know what's funny, a lot of us including me, wants the applause, before we even attain mastery. But you see that the most important transformation are preserved by invisibility, because they happen at a molecular speed. if you were able to see growth happening, your impatience will ruin it. Character forms in silence long before destiny announces it.

Let me shock you!!! Growth was never designed for your entertainment. It was designed for your evolution. The same law applies to your purpose, God doesn't rush divine processes to soothe your impatience. What we call delay, might just be that sacred interval between planting and germination. Because, I can guarantee you if you see growth happening in real time you would interrupt it. You know why? Because you would demand visible evidence from an invisible process and how is that going to make sense to you.

No matter what, just know that even when you don't see your hair grow, the proof of its growth is in the hands of your barber.

So stay focused, and wait patiently.

Thank you for reading. Keep steeming 💯
