It was no different in Norway more than 80 years ago; it was not ‘the Germans’. This is a simplification that causes more harm than is necessary, in my opinion, when talking about the crimes of the Nazis and their accomplices.
Hence my request: please remove ‘the Germans’ from the headline. ‘Hitler tried to make...’ is precise enough.
And please never forget Hiroshima and Nagasaki! Those were not pillars of fire of peace and love for humanity.
