Today, for the second time, I rewatched the animated film Moana…
And I discovered something new for myself…

This beautiful story is based on Polynesian myths. In the mythology of this people, there really is a cultural hero named Maui, who, according to legends, pulled the Polynesian islands (the land) from the bottom of the sea with the help of his fishing hook.

This land was called by different kinds of fish: sometimes “ulua,” sometimes “hāhā-kahaki.”

Maui caught a huge fish, but he could not pull it out completely. Some parts of the fish appeared on the surface of the waters, and some did not — therefore, many islands were formed instead of a single continent.

The main character of the film is a fourteen-year-old girl named Moana. She is the daughter of the chief of the tribe living on the island of Motu Nui, which I marked in yellow. 👁️⬇️

According to one version, in 380 AD the Polynesians of the Tuamotu archipelago set off in search of new land. They reached the island and lived there in clans, without contact with other peoples, for more than 1,000 years. МОАНА (УКРАЇНСЬКА ВЕРСІЯ)

Сьогодні я вдруге, переглянула мультфільм «Моана»…
І відкрила для себе дещо нове…

Ця прекрасна історія заснована на полінезійських міфах, в міфології цього народу справді існує культурний герой на імʼя Мауі, котрий за легендами витягнув полінезійські острова (землю) з дна моря, з допомогою свого риболовного гака.

Цю землю називали різнами видами риб: іноді «улуа», іноді «хаха-кахаки».

Мауі спіймав величезну рибу, але повністю витягнути не зміг, деякі частини риби зʼявилися на поверхні вод, а деякі — ні, тому вийшло багато островів, а не суцільний континент.

Головна героїня мультфільму, чотирнадцятирічна дівчинка Моана. Вона дочка вождя племені, що проживає на острові, Motu Nui, який я відмітила жовтим. 👁️⬇️

Перед дівчинкою стоїть завдання знайти його та вмовити повернути серце.

Бабуся розповідає онуці, що їх предки вірили, що Мауі ховається під своїм гаком.

Мені стало цікаво, де знаходиться МАУІ …

Сузірʼя я ідентифікувала, це — Скорпіон…

Ходили такі чутки… та все ж, співвідноситься вона з богом підземного царства.

Це місце має бути недалеким від острову Пасхи…
Місце має бути мертвим…

І таке місце є … Зветься воно - точка Немо.

Точка Немо (англ. Point Nemo) — умовна точка в Світовому океані, найвіддаленіша від будь-якої суші на Землі. Розташована у південній частині Тихого океану. Найближчою сушею є безлюдний атол Дюсі за 2688 кілометрів на північ.
