I am told all of the time that I care too much and, in truth, it is freaking exhausting feeling like I am the only one around me who cares. I hate seeing garbage on the street. I hate seeing people suffer. I'm always looking for solutions and often find I'm looking forward to solutions for people and they don't even care to try to look for a solution! And it's their own problem!

I am also in the United States and feel that it is very cultural, the not caring that is. I was raised to care, but it doesn't seem to be common. The ego seems to be fully in charge and no one thinks about nor takes responsibility for their actions. It has driven me crazy my whole life. Part of the reason I'm on here is because I am looking for ways to live a more peaceful, creative, and fulfilling life.
