Competition 95 - Flowers

Hi everyone, thanks @xpilar for the contest. I haven't drawn in a while, I'm out of practice, so be kind!😂

Here's my pencil-drawn flower, step by step.

First I outline the outline, then I try to darken the shadowed areas under the larger petals and add some lines to give the petals direction.

To blend, I use a trick I learned online—a cotton swab. Then I go over it with the pencil and continue blending, and I do this for the entire flower. On the inside, I use the pencil to create a darker area and blend again.

I'm satisfied with the result, which is so-so, but considering it's my first drawing in a while, I'm happy.
