President Trump and Elon Musk

First of all I am from Honduras so the only beef I have in this is the fact that the USA is our country's largest trading partner and also most investments in this country come from the USA, plus we do have a lot of people working up there. So yes, the USA is very important to Honduras. I have watched the tariffs with a wary eye, as I was not really sure how they would hit us, but we are really small fry so what we got was 10%, not as much as I feared. Now you do have to understand what happens is that Honduran products become slightly more expensive in US retail stores, hopefully the price increase is not a deal breaker.

Now, I must admit Honduras does have tariffs on most things that are imported into the country, with the exception of probably food stuffs. This has always hampered people, even second hand stuff has tariffs so to buy a second hand car from the US we have to fork over an extra amount to pay for tariffs. yes, tariffs are paid by the people in the country, notwithstanding the rhetoric we have been hearing from the Trump Administration. I m all for tariffs disappearing, it is just an extra tax on an already overburdened by tax country.

But OK, this os happening and the Us has the upper hand, they can do as they wish and all we can do is wish things end up good for us. But today what I saw was a fight between President Trump and Eln Musk. What I did see I saw on X, which I agree is not the best source for news, But you do get a feel there about how people are taking it. One of the things I noticed is that a lot of Trump followers believe Trump and Musk are playing 5D Chess and very soon the truth will come out and the deep state will fall thanks to the genius of Trump and Musk by playing this charade.

Now, what I ask myself is why play charades. The truth is easier believed and understood if it is given as is, the real deal, no problem if feelings are hurt the truth is the truth and there is nothing wrong about putting it out for everyone to see.

No, I don't believe this is 5D chess, something happened and there was a fallout, just a few days ago they were on the best of terms. Now they are cleaning their dirty clothes on X. I wonder why? Can neither of them stop posting on social media. I mean social media is actually the place where people go to post their personal conspiracy theories, to get any truth there you have to use a comb.

But frankly I don't think this quasi wars between Trump and Musk can do any good, even if it is all a plan by these two guys to deceive the deep state. That is if there is a deep state. I actually believe what we have is a great divide between the haves and the have nots, and the haves are way ahead in the game.

In this case, even though I am not a great Trump fan, I believe he should be the one who is right, after all he is the President.
