President Trump and Elon Musk Follow Up

Ok, this was a spat between the supposedly richest man in the World and the supposedly most powerful man in the World. I say supposedly because with so many conspiracy theories around about secret or at least unheard of powerful and super rich people maybe I am mistaken about the wealth and power of the two players I am talking about.

In the end it seems the powerful man won, and Elon Musk capitulated. Of course I read on X that this was really just a show to trick the Deep State into putting down their guard and then delivering the death stroke. I don't know, I kind of think this is not so. I do believe that there are groups of people who work together to further their interests. But an organization as vast as conspiracy theories pretend the Deep State to be is kind of not too believable. Just thinking it through, if these guys are so powerful and Trump is their nemesis, I think Trump would have been taken out a long time ago.

No I think their spat was real, they fought like entitled people do, and in the end the most powerful won out. I guess those government contracts incentives, and most of all, the negative effect Musk's work in the government have had for him just made him change his mind. He went against the very people who buy his stuff whom are mostly liberal progressives, and by fighting with Trump he would also lose the Trump supporters, that would leave him with a very small market.

So he did what he had to do, accept he lost and try to be as public about it as possible to avoid a back lash. Trump didn't even have to do much, just the threat in the air that government contracts were on the line was a big way to put him on track. I guess the moral of the story is not to fight someone who is more powerful than you even if you have more money.

Which gives me another idea, money can just get you so far, after that you are on your own. I really don't care about this particular fight, I knew it would come, and I actually knew who would capitulate. But the Tweets or Xes or whatever they are called that Musk deleted are still out there, and they can come back and bite him. But it was a good fun week with this particular fight even though other things have not been even close to funny. We are living hard times.
