The triangle Lady

OK, sorry for the image, I am no good at drawing, I have essential tremor and I don't even have any imagination.

This story started just before Christmas in 2023. My friend asked me to accompany him to Yoro, which is the department's capital and is about two hours drive away from Olanchito the town I was at at that moment. The road is paved all the way to a river named San Marcos, at that point there is an unfinished bridge and the pavement stops. Now from here on this road goes up, until we were surrounded by mountains. On the way my friend told me to watch out for a woman on the road. Well I saw nothing, we got to Yoro, picked up the person we were going for and went back to Olanchito.

On the way my friend told me the story about this woman. It seems a few weeks back he had gone on that same road on his way to Tegucigalpa with his boss. On the way back and when they were crossing a bridge already on the paved part of the road, my friend saw a very tall and thin woman right on the side of the bridge, seemingly made of triangles. He took out his gun and just sat there looking.

His boss just kept on driving, my friend eventually asked him if he had seen the woman, the guy couldn't even answer he was trembling and really pale. Well they did get over it before they passed a village. Here they stopped to get a few beer and tell their story. The owner is a woman who is a friend of ours and she told them, Oh that is the lady of the road. She always appears to truckers, you were lucky, sometimes she appears inside the car. MY friend says he kept his gun in his hand all the way back.

Now he was telling me this while we were passing that very bridge, so I did what any smart person would have done. I shut my eyes.
