To give of ourselves to others is one of the greatest gifts we are offered in this life, as is the encouragement and upliftment of those around us, but what so many of us forget is to retain the balance between the giving "of ourselves" and the giving "to ourselves".

I am not referring to things of a materialistic nature, no - I am referring to nurturing a healthy love and respect for ourselves first, so that we have a solid foundation upon which we can then give of ourselves to the people around us.

We need to be at peace in our own lives and selves before we will ever have anything to offer others... and this is not something which is attained as a once off thing, done and dusted. Life is continually changing and there will be a constant ebb and flow between harmonious and inharmonious points in our journey.

At stages where we no longer feel at peace with where we currently stand or what we are doing - we owe it to ourselves to remove whatever it is that is causing unrest from our immediate sphere, putting our focus back onto once again reaching a state of contentment.

Earlier this morning I read this quote, which really just compounds what I am trying to say here as well as very strongly resonating with the current changes I find myself faced with in my own life.

Set peace in your mind as your highest goal and organize your life around it.

Perhaps it will speak loudly to some of you too!

Happy Monday Beautiful People!
May your day be filled to the brim with a love and appreciation for just how amazing you truly are and how MUCH you have to offer this world!
