Gold Rush; SOLD for GOLD_Boko haram
"We don't just mine crude oil but gold," inclusive, as Odugwu, a member of the parliament, passes through the legislative chamber in Azo Rock, he overhears the sitting president mention this, not once, not twice, and then it's affirmed and confirms the fact that he was not sleep talking; not only his voice was heard, but other tones echoed in surprise. Lastly, in order to let no one know about this, "we must protect it." The monitoring unit controlling the CCTVs may have thought this was a mere conversation; only footage was captured, not the sound. Odugwu an outstanding politician with many undisclosed, disguised crude oil depots registered in the names of very outstanding sectors supporting the Nigerian economy bombed into the room.
At this time, no guards and no imaginary picture flooded his mind about what will become of him after bombing into this apartment in the rock. "What a perfect place to make this deal work, he thought. He stormed in majestically, looking very malicious after closing the doors against the security guard as though he were a gentle being. "I heard about the gold. Where did you find it?" speaking impolitely. The president knew what sort of man he is: corrupt and a talented extortioner. A flashback reveals a secret depot with no trace even in the country he is ruling.
Gold? You are too bold to walk up to talk about something that's already been sold. If you don't want to lose your soul, then don't think about gold. With your greed, you extort our crude; now it's gold. Hold a bit. Who told you all of this? Everyone has gold. I bought gold with my money to keep it as a reserve until the price rises, and now you come in without a confirmation of what you may have been told. With due respect, Odugwu, we don't have your time.
At this point, the statement "We don't just mine crude oil but gold kept resounding in the mind of Odugwu". He knew all of this was a lie to divert his mind and interest. Gold costs more than crude even though crude sells off faster since it is an essential commodity, but gold is a very costly asset. He knew what it meant to own a reserve with this solid, long-lasting mineral (gold). He could detect the lie by looking intently into the eye of the president. He walked up close to him and whispered, It's a lie, and I will find out the truth.
At this point, in order to protect the nation's economy, the president and his circus formed a different section in the military; it began as a paramilitary, and they named it BOKOHARAM. This group was equipped with weapons that even the Nigerian military didn't have; with this, even the military cannot defeat them. The aim was to bring no defeat or disclosure to the miners of gold; soon it all became a wildfire (TERRORISM).
How? Whoever has the rifle becomes superior. Some members left the purpose and began making contrary deals while still maintaining the secret of this agency. Don't let them know we mine gold. This agency became a call for emergency. The contradictory group was also a part of the plan, all for gold. They bomb places, setting them ablaze and people handicapped, and adopt girls, and this puts total confusion in the minds of people, even the so-called government. This diverted the main talk in senatorial districts of the House of Assembly to tackling the nation's security.
At this point, Odugwu's state, Borno, was the central point of this attack; this placed him in total confusion about what to focus on, gold or security. If he doesn't seek any measure of intervention for his people, there is a high tendency of losing his vote in the 1999 election to any promising candidate...in the end, his attention left gold...
! [Click to reveal]Corruption became resident through terrorism; the gold was circulated in the presidency circus. Every leader had their bag; with this they bought votes with a golden value and became very insatiable when they reached a level in politics, and on exposure to this secret, they didn't contest for the people's interest but for gold.

A sagacious story into how Boko Haram began; the gold rush, somehow fictional with some element of truth, "We don't just mine crude oil but gold." At this point I can sense that you are flabbergasted, so I invite @graceleon, @alejos7ven, and @wakeupkitty to join this contest.

Your post raises important points about the link between terrorism and political corruption. The idea that leaders prioritize financial gain over the people's interests is concerning. I appreciate your invitation for discussion, as it encourages dialogue on these critical issues. Thank you for sharing your insights!

Yeah, thanks for commenting. I can tell that you understand where I am driving to, picturing the political state of my country and how frivolous many acts are. Gold is very symbolic, and it means a whole lot.

Es una historia interesante acerca del origen de la fiebre del oro. No entendí es porque colocas este mensaje entre corchetes, se supone que hay un link para abrir?
I appreciate you finding my piece intriguing, @inspiracion.
No link is supposed to be open. I decided to try out the new markdown styling I discovered on the SteemPro web version called "spoiler," but it turns out that the styling is not supported by the Steemit web but functions flawlessly there (SteemPro web). Take a look at the screenshot below.
Many governments, if not all, have among their ranks highly corrupt individuals who only know how to seize the nation's resources.
Thank you for joining the contest.
Have you heard of the term "protected criminals", i seems I coined that though, but that's what most of our politicians, in bullet proof cars, earning so high but yet they are not satisfy, stealing I don't know where they are accumulating those wealth to, biggest level of fraudster yet protected and today everyone feel the only way to survive is being political, or being in a party, contesting and recontesting.
Saludos.
