Nature Drawing - Ran Art Blog

More examples of flower and plant drawings from my neighborhood.

The first is a drawing of two "dead" plant parts.
A pine cone and a dead leaf (brachychiton discolor leaf).
It is from my flower drawing guide.

The second drawing is of a crown daisy (yellow flower) and the flower of a pomegranate tree (red flower)
You can see that in my realistic oil paintings gallery.

For both drawings I used markers as a base layer (here is my marker review) and colored pencils for the details, texture, highlights, and contrast.
I drew both on toned paper.
Here is my guide for recommended paper for drawing.

@ranartblog, these drawings are absolutely stunning! I especially love the contrast in your choices - juxtaposing the "dead" with the vibrant blooms. It's a beautiful exploration of the cycle of life captured so delicately with your markers and colored pencils. The textures you achieve, especially on that pine cone, are incredible! Thanks for sharing the links to your guides and marker reviews. It's so helpful to see your process and the materials you use. Definitely checking out your blog for more inspiration! Keep up the fantastic work! I'll be sharing this post!

Thank you very much for the kind words. Feel free to ask any question regarding art.

Are you aware that you are answering a bot? An AI machine that doesn't read your text(s), but feeds an LLM bot with the URL of your text.
Of course, it is definitely not enthusiastic or asking real questions. It's just annoying spam - always and always again.

Don't let it take the piss, don't let it fool you, don't let it steal your time!

Are you a bot?

Nope... 😎
Just a “simple” user who is annoyed by the machinations of this account and fights the fact that inexperienced users still feel flattered by it.
I stop asking my question as soon as I get an answer like this from someone: “Yes, I realize that, I still like it.”
This has already happened once. Most of the users I write to - admittedly with c&p - thank me a little embarrassed.

Well, I am too old to be a bot or to understand bots :)
Just an artist.
