If I do not cook at least once a day, I feel either lost or on vacation. If it’s the latter, I find ways to cook. This summer I visited my mother and uncle in Florida. Just off the plane I stopped in the grocery store and picked up ingredients for a roast chicken dinner. Then to their apartment with hugs and preheating the oven. Cooking is the one creative expression that never fails me, no matter how mediocre the outcome. Comfort cooking. The best meals are made with love for love. Impossible not to experience joy. You did it!
