Finding Destiny In Instructions And Directions
Something very adorable happened a few weeks back. Where I went to do some work, I found out that the platform that we used to undertake the task was changed. When I logged into the new platform, I was a bit lost even though the people who have used it say it is easier than the former platform. But I was finding it a bit difficult to navigate my way around the platform for almost 1hr, which was supposed to take less than 30mins. So I had to reach out to a friend who uses the same platform, so he gave me the direction and instructions. With the instructions, it took me less than 20mins to complete the task. This was when I understood the importance of direction and instruction to life.
A lot of people have dreams of what to do and aspirations, but some of them struggle with the "how to" move from their desires to manifestation, and how to unleash their full potentials. What they fail to understand is the power of instruction. There are things you may never achieve easily or even achieve at all except you follow certain instructions. For example, there is no way you can become a licensed pilot if you have not followed the directions of the instructors while you are a trainee. It is when you do what the person who have gone ahead of you have done that you can experience their kind of result. If you see someone who is keen to take instructions, you will see someone who always learns to become better.
You have to understand that you do not know everything that is ought to be known. Even the ones that you know is not even enough. You also need to bear in mind that there are people who know more than you, who you can learn from. What you want to achieve, there are others who have excelled in the same thing. The route which you are taking to your destination, others have actually arrived at the same destination. These people can show you the way they followed and the methods they applied that gave them the result. When you follow instructions and do what they did, you will get the same result.
Why a lot of people have not achieved what they have dreamt of is that they want to get the result without going through the processes. Trust me, the same thing that had taken someone a lot of months or even years to achieve, if you follow their instructions, you can achieve it in a shorter time. This is because they would have gathered enough experiences which they can pass on to you. When you climb on the shoulders of the people who have seen far, then you will also be able to see far. When you are going to a place that you do not know, you can use a GPS to find your way so that you do not lose direction. In the same way in life, when you want to do what you have not done before, you can leverage on the instructions from the people who have done that already to get yours done.
It is worthy to note that destiny and purpose are not stumbled upon by accident, rather they are discovered by carefully obeying and taking instructions. You will be surprised that a lot of the major achievements in life started with simple instructions. Sometimes, you may not like the instructions, or they may not even sound logical, and they may not be what you expect, but if that is what you need for your breakthrough, then you have to follow it. There is no instruction that is too small to be overlooked, neither is any too big to be followed. It is the directions and instructions you stick to that will make you who you are.
Instructions can also serve as a form of protection. There are some pitfalls that you can avoid if you take heed to the words of the people who already have considerable life experiences. The thing is that you can actually learn from anyone. Even if they have stumbled in life, you can still learn from them on how not to make the same mistake that they made in life. In order to take instructions, you have to be humble and understand how limited your individual ability is. You also need to be willing and ready to learn and be better. Then you have to be ready to ask questions and seek for help. Remember that help comes to the people who ask for it.
