No I do not pre-fry the vegetables because chicken is already has natural fat and I do not want to mix any other fat into my soup so all vegetables are fresh, I actually cook then for short time too, sometimes they are stick taste fresh, especailly onion and garlic I try not to cook too long so that they do not loose they taste at all.
