Tonight, I only have a short time to go down to Lhokseumawe town, to stop and buy some cigarettes I've run out of this afternoon. On the other hand, I want to show off the beauty of the blooming orange mushrooms I photographed today, while searching for various types of mushrooms in the Aceh forest.

Oddity after oddity began to emerge: during the dry season, these orange mushrooms were growing and thriving among piles of felled areca nut trees. This is no coincidence, but rather a benefit of traveling for content to post on Steemit.

On the other hand, I cut the leaves early because tomorrow morning I'll be traveling deep into the village to look for tree seeds, a tree often used for spices: the clove tree. I'll of course share this in my next post about searching for clove trees.
