Every once in a very long while, you stumble across a film so unique and uplifting, that for 90 minutes you actually forget about all the terrifying stuff thatโ€™s going on in the world right now.

The feature-length doc ๐—ง๐—ต๐—ฒ ๐—ง๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—ฏ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐˜„๐—ถ๐˜๐—ต ๐— ๐—ฟ ๐——๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—ฑ๐—น๐—ฒ follows Sam Cox, an incredibly gifted young artist who from a very young age feels an uncontrollable urge to draw โ€œdoodlesโ€ everywhere he can.

And when I say everywhere, I do mean ๐˜ฆ๐˜ท๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜บ๐˜ธ๐˜ฉ๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ฆ.

This would be quite annoying and disturbing if it were anyone else, but the fact of the matter is that Coxโ€™ doodles are quite brilliant.

His work evokes comparison with that of Keith Haring and Roy Lichtenstein, but I dare say that Coxโ€™ sprawling pieces are even more daring and eclectic.

The doc doesnโ€™t shy away from the mental health struggles that often go hand in hand with genius, and I couldnโ€™t help thinking what an absolutely perfect non-fiction/fiction double feature this film would make with ๐—” ๐—•๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐˜๐—ถ๐—ณ๐˜‚๐—น ๐— ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฑ (๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿญ).

In any event.

Seek it out & get your fix.
