Interesting – I was always described as too cold, too emotionless, too unapproachable. Now I know that none of that is true, but perhaps I put on this façade so that people wouldn't see me as too sensitive... I don't know. I've lost my instruction manual ;-)))

Sometimes I can't help but think that the unwritten "societal" instruction manual is based on the false assumption that it is best if we "are all the same." And so — even though it is not accurate — you get called "too cold" and I get called "too sensitive" even if we are exactly as we are.
