Yes, it is difficult to be diplomatic when someone tries to disqualify our tastes or our ideas.

I don't believe it's about disqualifying taste or ideas. It's like marcybetancourt also said: the games always been there on Steemit and that's what I remember. A more loosen up Steemit where fun was part. I don't see any problem in that. You an warn it can be addicted but if you ask me so is Steemit itself. It alsways felt like a game to me with "levelling up".
It's a fact not everyone can write or will ever learn it. It's not different from real life. Different people, differet hobbies. Addiction is a disease so is being obsessed but I doubt there's much we can do to make people stop playing or gambling (to me gaming is not per se gambling. My chldren game and are good at it but are not addicted, same for watching films, and their other hobbies. They devide their time among their interests (next to a job and study).
I also assume that those who don't have Steem cannot play for money or are loans provided like in some casinos?
A happy day.
Don't worry, my friend, the main goal will always be to clarify the points.
Thank you for your input.
