Many people from the nearby cities to dutse likes shopping from this market. Since the market is by the roadside, the nearby landmark is; when coming from Dwarki, life camp and Gwarinpa, the market is located by the right but when coming from Kubwa, it is located by the left you just have to cross over or if driving, use the U-turn that is just a few kilometers away so to use the car park.
Car park
They charge just #300 (2.1 steem) at the car park to keep every vehicle safe and secured.
The best time to visit this market is in the morning or afternoon because there are different challenges to encounter in the evening from 4:30pm;
- Crowds
- Traffic
- Poor quality items because sellers will display the leftovers during this hour
- Lack of space at the car park
Food stuffs area
Buying bulk food items here is the best because of its affordability. A basket of sweet potato is #2,000 (14 steem), fresh pepper #5,000 (35 steem), fresh tomatoes #5,000 (35 steem), Cow and goat meat #7,000 (49 steem) per kilogram. Payments are made in cash, transfer or with card. Please note that rates for steem price can fluctuate.

I have visited this market twice when I was in Abuja, but things are kind of expensive in the market than that of Maraba market.
Yeah…. You are right but compared to other markets around its environ, it is way more affordable. I will visit Maraba market someday. I’ve also heard that things are also very affordable in Nyanya market but it is out of town.
