Kushtia Municipality Museum.
I am @arroise from #bangladesh
Today I will introduce to you a traditional municipality of Bangladesh, Kushtia Municipality. I like visiting places related to history and tradition very much. Kushtia Municipality was established in 1869. Kushtia is my own district. I left home. A little before 10:30 in the morning, since I will be visiting places with a little history in the municipality all day, I took some time out.
After traveling on an easy bike for an hour, I came to the gate of the municipality. I saw many auto rickshaws, vans, micros in front of the gate of the municipality. Then I saw pictures of Kazi Nazrul Islam and world poet Rabindranath Tagore on the beautiful gate of this municipality, which I liked very much.
Then I entered through the gate. After entering the municipality, I saw a big statue of victory in a big place. Where a man is standing happily with a weapon in his hand. And behind this moment, many sculptures are seen in many white spaces. Where it is understood that someone is playing a star, playing drums, and rejoicing in the sculptures. Then I went to the back of the Vijay Ullas statue.
I took a selfie of myself from the place where the Kushtia Municipality was written. And this old big building here was the door of a museum. Which was closed today, I could not help but see. There were names of various places around the museum.
One of them was the Best Feeding Corner. It is very surprising to see these old red buildings of the municipality because they are from many years ago. Especially these old buildings of the municipality are still very beautiful. I like it very much, so I took a photograph. Then I entered inside this municipality to see the mysterious buildings.
First, I saw a big place. Where there are many buildings and on one side there is a badminton court painted very beautifully in green. The boys from the municipality play here. Which I liked to see quite a lot. Inside the municipality, the badminton court and the old big building of Kushtia Municipality, standing under the entrance door.
I took some pictures of myself through my partner. The environment around the building was quite beautiful. Very beautiful flowers and trees were planted around. And the red old municipality building has a very beautiful blue door. The beautiful green leaves of the trees were captivating.
The scenes inside the municipality. Next to it, I saw the MA Rahim auditorium building. The building was very big and there were many rooms in the building. I saw many small tub trees planted on Bhabani's balcony. Which have increased the beauty. Of this building. I saw another small building next to the new Rahim Milan building inside the municipality.
That is the women's corner. To keep the old building in memory. It was quite nice to see that these buildings have been painted red. The environment inside the municipality was absolutely beautiful. What was nice to see was that there were very beautiful fruit trees planted around. The environment was very beautiful and magnificent. I took a photograph while walking inside.
While walking along the road inside the municipality, I saw a small drain under the big building. And inside this drain there are different types of fish. The fish have been brought from abroad. Here, tourists can enjoy the beauty.
Next to the fish drain, I saw some medicinal plants like stonecrops and other trees on the side of the road.
In the middle, I saw the Information Technology Building from a corner. This building is quite old. Since the time of this municipality. The place looks quite nice because of the many plants along the walls of the municipality.
After walking around the main area inside the municipality, I went towards Kanya. There was a road inside the municipality, I started walking along the road. And as I was walking along the road, I saw many rickshaws plying on the road.
Then I saw a sculptor on the side of the road. Where I saw a palanquin being pulled by four people. And a girl was sitting inside this palanquin and peeking out. I saw this. I took a selfie from this place of this statue and took a photograph of the place.
Then I was walking up the road again when I saw it on the wall of the municipality. The way people of the ancient era lived. Sculptures made to remember the memories of that time. Some sculptures of that time have been painted here on the wall, they look very beautiful. The sculptures of how people of the ancient era used to provide food and what their professions were are presented here very beautifully. I liked seeing them and took photographs.
I came to the largest pond inside the municipality. There were many people on the pond. Many people are roaming here. I am also roaming here. I feel good here. There was a big banyan tree on the pond. There is a place to sit here to enjoy the beautiful moments of the pond. I sat here for a while under the banyan tree and enjoyed the beauty of the pond and took photographs.
I enjoyed roaming all over the place inside the municipality. I saw some sculptures of ancient era Prapadatantra signs and it was nice. Then after roaming around, when I went home, that time was when I. I came to the car parking area inside the Kushtia Municipality. Here I saw many cars parked, auto rickshaws, private cars, etc.
After that, I left for home after completing my tour of this Kushtia Municipality place. I am adding the location of my tour place, Kushtia Municipality, to the Steem Atlas map and Google Maps. Its link is given below. And I am ending here.
