Lamuri Hill: Panorama of the Hidden Beauty of the Cliffs
Hello Steemit friends, good afternoon and best wishes to all Steemians. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well.
Aceh Besar Regency, a region in Aceh Province, is renowned for its diverse natural beauty. Lamuri Hill, or Lamreh, is one of the most visited natural tourist destinations. Lamuri Hill is located in Lamreh Krueng Raya Village, Mesjid Raya District, Aceh Besar Regency. This enchanting tourist area is approximately 39 kilometers from the center of Banda Aceh, the capital of Aceh Province, and can be reached in approximately one hour.
From the top of Lamuri Hill, fishing boats can be seen in the distance plying the vast waters of the Indian Ocean. A short distance to the east stretches a vast plain with cliffs jutting out into the sea. This is the beautiful view Lamuri Hill offers to every visitor. Lamuri Hill was once the administrative center of the Lamuri Kingdom. Visitors to the highlands of Krueng Raya often discover various traces of this civilization.
Visitors often find ancient pottery in the Lamuri Hill area. Similarly, distinctive Lamuri-style tombstones, with their ancient carvings, are also frequently found. Today, Lamuri Hill is a popular tourist destination for tourists from various regions, especially Greater Aceh and Banda Aceh, and even those from outside the region. The panoramic view of the sea and the expanse of hills and green valleys creates a stunning impression, with cliffs jutting out into the sea.
As the sun sets to the west, the charm of a golden orange sunset emerges, blending with the blue ocean. It's a captivating sight for nature photographers to capture this beautiful moment. Lamuri Hill also makes for a highly aesthetic family picnic spot. Visitors needn't worry about food and drinks, as local stalls selling a variety of culinary delights are available at Lamuri Hill. However, access to the Lamuri Hill tourist area is somewhat challenging due to the rocky road.
This poses a challenge for tourists trying to reach the hill. Similarly, public facilities, such as restrooms and prayer rooms, are still very limited. The lack of cleanliness also discourages visitors from lingering on Lamuri Hill. This situation is certainly a nuisance for tourists who want to relax on the grass. Despite these shortcomings, Lamuri Hill remains a must-visit tourist destination with its extraordinary panorama. Hopefully, the government will take steps to develop Lamuri Hill's hidden tourism potential in the future.
