This afternoon the atmosphere in the village was so lively and full of joy. From the front of my house I sat relaxed while enjoying the gentle breeze that brushed my face. The scenery that I witnessed was so simple but gave its own happiness, starting from a group of children in my village playing and bathing in the ditch that flows in front of the house.

Their laughter sounded boisterous, adding to the tranquility of this afternoon. Some were splashing water at each other, some were diving and some were just sitting on the edge while watching their friends play. The clear ditch water, the result of our village's natural flow, is a favorite place for children every time the hot weather greets. Seeing them laugh freely without any burden makes my heart smile and be happy. As if reminding me that true happiness does not always have to come from big things and is enough from small moments like this.

While enjoying this view, my gaze shifted to my wife who was standing in front of the house, her eyes occasionally looking at the road while waiting for the arrival of the package courier. Today my wife was waiting for a long-awaited COD package and it was a household item that she bought online. There was a kind of enthusiasm on her face even though it was only about a small package. I smiled in my heart, how simple and enjoyable our life in our village was.

Life in our village is far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but this is where I find true peace and happiness. The children play freely, my wife smiles waiting for her package and I can witness all of that with a grateful heart. This afternoon is one of the moments that I want to keep in my memory for a long time—a moment when simplicity greets me so beautifully.
