Daman-e-Koh, Islamabad – A Beautiful Hilltop Viewpoint
I hope you are all doing well. Today I am participating in the SteemAtlas challenge, and I am very excited to share with you the review of a beautiful tourist place that I recently visited with my cousins and family. It was a short but memorable family trip, and I am going to give you all a little tour of this wonderful location.
The place I am talking about is Daman-e-Koh, which is located in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan. It is situated on the Margalla Hills, and from this viewpoint we can see the entire city of Islamabad spread out beautifully below us. It is one of the most famous touruist spots in the city, and people from many different cities of the couuntry come here to enjoy its natural beauty, peaceful environment, and breathtaking views.

When we entered Daman-e-Koh, the first thing I noticed was how organized and clean the area was. Islamabad is already a very green and beautiful city, but this spot looked even more refreshing and well maintained. The entrance was wide and surrounded by tall green trees. The air felt so fresh to mes compared to the city atmosphere, and right from the start, there was a sense of peace and calm.

As we walked ahead, our first stop was the beautiful gardens. The lawns were very neatly maintained, with colorful flowers arranged in a lovely way, ahh charm to the place. Families were sitting on benches, children were playing around, and everyone seemed to be enjoying the peaceful environment. We also spent some time sitting on the grass, enjoying the cool breeze and fresh air.

The best part of Daman-e-Koh is its viewpoint. Since it is located on the Margalla Hills, we could see the entire city of Islamabad below us. The Faisal Mosquea, different sectors of the city, and the greenery all around looked like a magical painting. Standing there with the cool breeze blowing, I felt completely relaxed and connected to nature, away from the busy routine of daily life..

Inside the area, there was also a restaurant Name the The Dome Restaurant, where many visitors were enjoying their meals. Outside, we found several small stalls selling snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, and other local treats., families wer'e buying food and children happily enjoying their favorite things.

Another very interesting thing was the information boards placed around the site. They had details about the wildlife of the Margalla Hills. For example, I read about the Grey Goral , a type of mountain goat found in the hills.
And as we walked further, we actually saw monkeys in different areas. They were climbing trees, playing around, and some people were feeding them. It was so fun to watch, and the presence of wildlife made the trip even more exciting.

There was also a mosque inside Daman-e-Koh, which I found very beautiful because it allows visitors to easily offer their prayers while enjoying their trip. Another thing that impressed me was the presence of boards reminding visitors to keep the place clean, and I was happy to see that most people were following it, keeping the area neat and pleasant.

The arrangements for tourists were really good. There was a proper parking area, which made it easy for us to park our car without any difficulty. Near the parking, there was also a security room, and guards were keeping an eye on everything. This made the place feel very safe and family ffriendly.
We spent quite a lot of time walking along the paths, exploring different gardens, enjoying the cool breeze, and taking pictures at the viewpoint. It was such a memorable trip for me and my cousins, and we felt so peaceful while being surrounded by greenery and nature.

When it was finally time to leave, we walked back towards the entrance. There was a big board with “Khuda Hafiz” written on it, which gave us a sweet farewell. From there, we reached the parking area, got into our car, and started our journey back home with lots of happy memories.
This visit to Daman-e-Koh was truly refreshing for us all , and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Islamabad. It is the perfect place to enjoy nature, relax with family, and see the city from above.
I hope you all liked this little tour that I shared, and I am sure if you ever visit Islamabad, you will also fall in love with this beautiful tourist spot.🤗🌸🌼
