My Tour to the Uyo Township Stadium

I could remember when I came here for my first march-pass, I was so overwhelmed by how big and beautiful the stadium was, oh this my first time in a Stadium, so you could imagine how amazed I was to see the stadium. This is one of the oldest stadium in my state and it is located in the heart of the city, uyo.

Talking about accessibility , this stadium is easily accessible in my city, since it has a good road network from the airport you can get a 30 mins drive to the stadium. The roads are broad and there's less traffic which gives a free flow to vehicles approaching the stadium.

•	Brief History

This stadium was established by the Akwa ibom state government, this was done around the 1990's and it is the first established stadium in the state. This stadium was mainly established for sporting activities and it is still relevant till now.

There's no private founder, this stadium was established and built by the Akwa ibom state government for the purpose of sport activities in the state.

Communication is usually passed across in different information Media in the state. In the case of any official match, this is usually make available by the club sides playing the match and also the different sport media outlets.

This stadium was the home stadium for the Akwa United team in the Nigerian Premier League which was later changed to the international Stadium for better use.

There's no single day you get into the stadium without seeing football activities going on. Competitions are held here, the youths sports week football competition was also held here. It has a very good football field with a very good view. Behind the football field there's a swimming pool for swimming activities which was still held during this sport games week.

I felt so relieved, you will feel safe while you're in the stadium without getting intruded by anyone. The stadium is very relevant and neat in the state despite being the oldest stadium. So I would rate the a 9 ⭐.
