🍁 Assalamualaikum🍁
Hello..!!
My Dear Friends,
I am @rezaul-420 from 🇧🇩Bangladesh
The road through the tea garden.
My selfie with my older brother
Kodala Tea Garden is a wonderful tourist attraction located in Rangunia Upazila of Chittagong district. It is one of the oldest tea gardens in the country and is said to have been established in 1892. Spread over an area of about 2,485 acres, this garden is located on the banks of the Karnaphuli River. This has enhanced the beauty of the tea garden.
Since people come there to visit and enjoy the beauty, some food stalls have been set up along the road. Although there are no big restaurants as the tea garden is located outside the main city, there are very good communication facilities.
The beauty of nature from afar
Kodala Tea Garden is not only famous for its tea production but also for its natural beauty. Here you can see rows of tea plantations, British-era bungalows and beautiful hilly views. Moreover, when the trees have new leaves, it is very beautiful to see. Since the area is very large, it takes a lot of time to roam around.
There is a nursery next to the tea garden because if a tree dies or gets damaged somewhere, they can easily get seedlings from their nursery and plant them easily. Their nursery is quite large.
There is a large pond next to the garden where the garden employees bathe. In addition, small nurseries have been built around the pond, which has increased the beauty of the tea garden several times.
Old British architectural style
Here the entire process of making tea can be seen directly. Drying of tea leaves and processing through various machines can be seen beautifully. This tea garden is currently being managed by City Group. The tea produced from here is sent all over Bangladesh and also sent outside the country. Through its export, it is playing a role in financially supporting the country.
You can enjoy the beautiful view of the Karnaphuli River flowing past the tea gardens. Which will help you in your journey of tiredness. The view of the small boats moving in the river and the moment of sunset which is very beautiful to see. The cool breeze on the banks of the river will help you calm down. You will never get bored here.
How to get there?
Kodala Tea Garden can be reached from Chittagong city by both road and river routes.
From Bahaddarhat Bus Terminal in Chittagong city, one has to take a bus on Kaptai Road and get off at Chandraghona Lichubagan or Godown Bazar in Rangunia Upazila. From there, one can take a CNG or auto-rickshaw directly to Bagan.
From Chittagong city, one can go to Mariam-Nagar Chowmuhani and from there take a rickshaw or CNG to reach the banks of the Karnaphuli River. Then, one can cross the river by boat or trawler and reach the garden.
