Ferry terminal, Narayanganj

Today I will write about a ferry terminal in our country, and I will pin it up on the Steem Atlas map. I hope everyone will like it.
Our country is river-based, there are many rivers in this country, and since there are rivers, there are different types of boats to go from one side to the other, which have been moving on the river route since ancient times.
Today, I am coming to one of the well-known river Shitalakshya ferry terminals in Narayanganj city. It is located in Narayanganj city, and thousands of people travel on this river every day.
Since Narayanganj is a city, people on the other side of the river cross the river route to come and go to the city for their livelihood. However, this ferry terminal was built long ago. During the British period, goods were imported and exported through this river route.
Engine Boats
However, since this city is a business, Narayanganj City Corporation has provided 3 boats (large engine-powered boats) where there is no charge for movement. The Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation, "Sakhawat Ivy", has made this facility available to the residents of Narayanganj. Everyone can move quickly and free of charge.
In this case, one person has to pay 1 taka per person for rent (lease) and in that case, thousands of taka are raised here every day, and with this money, the roads there are fixed. There is a single sitting place where they collect money.
Crosswalk
There are several types of roads to go to the fishing pier, including some walking paths on the banks of the river, which were used to walk on water in rural areas in the past. There are also brick and stone roads and flower tops of decorated trees on the sides of the roads.
Rule-based
It was quite beautiful, because many people move there every day, and these roads were always crowded. There is a signboard there that says that no goods can be carried in the boat. This is a boat for the public only.
The boats are tied to a floating ferry with a rope. For this, a thick rope was used to tie the boat to the floating ferry, and there is also a shelter where everyone can wait for the boat.
Waiting place
This floating ferry is quite big and is located on the riverbank. To get there, you have to walk on the bridge, and these passenger boats keep coming one after the other on the river.
Water (1 litter 2 Steem)
There are various small food shops next to the boat pier. I was visiting this pier in the intense heat, and I bought water from this shop. There, the price of 1 liter of water was only 35 taka.
This pier is open from morning to evening, and it is open to everyone every day of the week. The government-provided motorized boats improve people's travel and trade, and as a result, our country's economy is improving.
