🏵️THE DIARY GAME 🏵️

Going out and traveling after Eid has become a habit. Every year, in the days following Eid, we hang out with our friends. This year was no exception. We made plans to go somewhere after Eid. So, on the 5th, early in the morning, we left our homes to start our journey. Since we’re usually busy with work, it’s not easy for us to go on trips. Even then, we couldn’t imagine spending Eid without going out somewhere.

Before setting off, we called each of our friends. Everyone was ready to join. However, one of our friends, Mukhtar Ahmed, couldn’t come due to some family issues. But no trip feels complete without him. So, without thinking twice, we went straight to his house. When we got there, we found him fishing in a pond. We pulled him away from his fishing and told him to get ready to go out with us. He couldn’t refuse, and following our insistence, he started preparing for the trip.

Just then, his little son came in front of us. The boy was incredibly cute. He was chatting with us cheerfully, and all of us friends were having fun with him. He was a very calm and polite child and quickly became comfortable around us.

After getting everything ready, we all set off on our Eid tour. Since we were all riding bikes, the excitement was a bit higher. Whenever friends gather together like this, it naturally becomes joyful. Our destination for the day was Akkas Valley Park—a beautiful new park that had recently opened.

However, the road was extremely crowded on the way there. The traffic was so dense that it felt like there was no space to move forward. The park's recent opening had attracted a large number of visitors, making it tough to even reach the entrance. After struggling through the crowd, we finally made it to the park gate.

Once there, we stood in line and bought tickets. The ticket price was 60 taka. But here comes the funny part—somehow, I managed to sneak in without buying a ticket! Despite the heavy security, getting inside like that was truly a memorable experience.

Inside the park, the environment was quite beautiful. Green grass surrounded the entire area. Since the park was still under development, construction work was ongoing in some parts.

By the time we entered, it was already late afternoon. The sun was setting in the western sky. Watching the sunset through the tall kash flowers by the pond was absolutely stunning. We spent a long time there, chatting and taking pictures with our friends. Time flew by while we were having fun. Eventually, we all grouped up again to explore the rest of the park.

There was a hill-like spot inside the park from where the entire park could be seen at a glance. We all climbed up there. Once at the top, we took several photos with the whole park in the background. Being on higher ground made it feel like the entire park was right before our eyes.

After that, all of us friends stood together and took a group photo. Nowadays, because of life’s demands, each of us lives in a different city. It’s only during Eid that we get the chance to reunite. And whenever we do, it brings immense joy. No matter where in the country life takes us, we can never forget these friends. They have taken up a place of priority in our lives. After family, these friends are the closest ones—always by our side in times of need.

As we wandered around, evening eventually arrived. The park lit up in shades of blue and green, giving it a magical new look. It looked absolutely beautiful in the twilight. We enjoyed those lovely moments together, soaking in the serene evening atmosphere.

After that, we all headed back home. This Eid was especially joyful because so many of us were together. Eid trips always bring a different kind of happiness. I really love traveling, so whenever there’s an opportunity, I go out with my friends.
