I also tried ramen for the first time.

Another Asian food I'd always wanted to try was ramen, and it was another thing I bought at the Asian Festival without thinking twice... And wow... it wasn't what I thought. It had egg, scallions, seaweed, meat, noodles... and that strong-smelling broth.

I thought it was going to be a mild soup, like the ones you drink when you're sick... but no, this was something else. The flavor was intense, with a strong ginger flavor. At first, it hit me hard because I wasn't used to such strong flavors, but then I really enjoyed it.

The noodles were delicious, the egg was cooked to perfection, and the combination of all those contrasting ingredients made it special. I'd never tried anything like it before. My daughters tried it too, and the little one didn't like it because of the strong flavor, and the older one said it tasted strange, but she did like it.
