The Diary Game [03/08/2025] // Disappointed Day

Steem greetings guys from the motherland of Cameroon and welcome to my blog for another session with my diary game. We often find ourselves in funny but annoying circumstances in life that left us devastated and that was just how my day went through.

The previous night was stressful and I had fever and catarrh but took some medications which somehow helped me but I was still suffering from severe headache. I literally struggled to sleep but I got up and had to go to the bus station to collect a parcel. Initially, I was excited to pick up the parcel because I had some important items from it.

I took cab to the bus station at about 8:00 AM because I knew that was the time offices were opened and also the bus that carried the parc must have arrived. To my greatest surprise, when I went to the mail office to check my parcel, I was told that the car carrying the parcels has not yet arrived. I was asked to seat and waited.

I sat down and had discussions with some passengers at the park while waiting on the arrival of the bus. To my greatest surprise, the bus arrived at about 10:00AM and my parcel was not sent because there was no space to carry the bag.

I was angry and at the same time feeling disappointed because how could they say there was no space to carry a bag that was paid to be sent immediately. What if there were perishable items in the bag? Those were the questions running in my mind mc what if the things get bad?. Normally, it is advisable to know the content of your bag so that while at the mail service emphasized there were perishables and can get bad if not send on time. That was what the manager told me that the sender would have emphasized that there were perishables in the bag and if not sent on time will get bad.

I was disappointed and regretting I have wasted time and money to collect a parcel that was not received. I took another cab returning home and when I arrived home, my neighbor saw the mode at which I was returning and asked me what was wrong?. I explained my ordeal with her and she tried to console me and brought a plate of my traditional delicacy.

Though it was my traditional delicacy but to be Frank, the meal was not giving what it was supposed to give. I could not get that taste of a local delicacy and she noticed I was not really enjoying the meal. I had no choice to eat it the way it was because I hate it when someone waste food.

After eating, I tried to have a chat with her but my mind was not digesting any thoughts but I felt sleepy. I went indoors and took a bath and had to sleep early to get enough rest ready to face challenges of another day.

Guys, it was a disappointed day and I wish this would never occur again in my life. Till now, I’m still not feeling well and worst of it, my toddler son got sick as well. It was indeed a disappointed day.
