The Diary Game [14/08/2025] // A Busy Day.

Steem greetings, guys, from the motherland of Cameroon. Welcome to my blog for another session on my daily lifestyle. It is a rainy period in my location and rains almost throughout the day. Going out to work in the office is pretty much difficult as it floods almost every day at his office time of the year.

I decided to work from home today because I woke up and it was raining heavily and I could not go out that morning. Working from home with the kids is difficult but I had to develop a strategy to start working early enough before the kids wake up from bed. During holidays they usually go to bed late and wake up late the next day. I know that working at the early hours was perfect timing and working in the late evening hours.

By the time the kids were up from bed, I had managed to cover almost half of my daily office tasks. I had to prepare them breakfast which almost served as lunch because of the time. I prepared fried beans with puff puff.

During the afternoon hours, the rain had subsided but the weather was cold. We decided to visit a family friend and the kids were busy watching cartoons. I left the house with my husband as the driver hehehehe.

Along the way, the street was almost empty and it seemed that because of the too much rain and cold this day, everyone decided to stay at home. If not because I'm living in this neighbourhood, I would have thought otherwise.

We did not even waste time at her place because it was freezing in her place and we had to leave when she went back into the sheet.

We returned home and I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner. I had every ingredient arranged for the meal which made cooking so easy for me. I boiled rice and prepared fried beans to be eaten with the rice. I served everyone food and also fed the kids.

After eating, I took a warm bath and continued with my work and completed my task for the day. I submitted my daily report of activities to my boss and boom it was movie time on Netflix. I switched on my TV and logged into my Netflix account and searched for the latest movies.

It wasn't fun watching the movie because my kids were playing loudly andcouoled with heavy rains, I could barely hear anything. I gave up watching the movie and had to go to bed to catch up on sleep and rest properly to face the next day's challenges. Until my next diary, it is good night from my end to you guys.
