The Diary Game [28/09/2025] //A Sunday of Faith, Family, and Football.

Steem greetings guys from the motherland of Cameroon and welcome to my blog for another lifestyle content. Hope you guys had a blissful Sunday. My day was one of those full, rewarding Sundays where everything seemed to flow though not without effort.

My day began early, as usual, with the task of preparing the kids for church. It is always a little hectic, trying to coordinate outfits, prepare breakfast, and make sure everyone is clean, fed, and in good spirits before stepping out but thank God we were all on point. The kids were surprisingly cooperative, which helped move the morning along smoothly because they had slept late the previous night. I got them dressed and ready for our regular church service, dropped them off, and ensured they were settled with the Sunday school teachers before heading off to the main church myself.

This was not my church as a friend invited us to attend a service at their church, and I felt it was the right day to go. The atmosphere there was different but welcoming. The worship was powerful and spirit-filled, and the sermon touched me deeply.

The pastor spoke about the Power in the name of Jesus, how just calling on His name brings healing, deliverance, peace, and authority. It was a strong reminder of the spiritual authority we carry as believers and the comfort we find in Jesus’ name during times of trouble. I found myself reflecting on how often we underestimate that power in our daily lives.

After church, I returned home and jumped straight into preparing lunch. I made fried cabbage with beef and peanut butter, which turned out delicious, rich, flavorful, and hearty. We had it with boiled potatoes, and it was a satisfying meal for a Sunday afternoon.

While the food cooked, I also took time to prepare groundnut soup, which I portioned and stored in the freezer for the coming week. It's always a good feeling to have something prepared ahead of time, especially for those busy evenings when cooking from scratch feels impossible.

I also washed the dishes, pots, and everything used during the cooking. It felt good to see the kitchen sparkling again a small but satisfying accomplishment.

By late afternoon, the only thing left on my agenda was to relax a bit. I made myself a cup of tea and sat down to watch the English Premier League game between Newcastle and Arsenal, played at St James’ Park. It was a really interesting match tense at times, with both teams pushing hard. But Arsenal came out on top, fighting till the final whistle and securing a solid win. Their teamwork and strategy were impressive, and it was the perfect end to the day.

Looking back, it was a busy but beautiful day filled with family, faith, food, and football. I’m thankful for the strength to get through everything and the moments of peace and joy tucked in between. Until my next diary, it's s goodnight from my end.

Youre a loving Mother in your Family Ma'am Chant and it is true that before going to church, our children must be clean, have a full stomach and have a good spiritual life so we can perform very well regarding with the church activities.
