The Diary Game Show:Monday 30th June, 2025

Hello steemit family, trust your day is going well. I want to do a quick introduction of myself 😁 My name is Ezinne Deborah Paul fondly called deboski or Debi. I am Based in Nnobi Anambra State, Nigeria and i work at a bread production Company.

Today is Monday and in Anambra state Nigeria Mondays are sit-at-home. We don't usually go to work till evening so we have the time to rest, cook, wash, study and sleep well too. So today I woke up by 6:30am, went to sit outside and take fresh air before my friend call entered.

My friend is part of the chorister in our church and they usually have their rehearsals every Sunday night as a vigil, so while he was going home he passed by my house and decided to check up on me as a good friend.

This is a picture of me when I woke up, it was really cold outside because we are in Raining season so i decided to wear my cardigan to the gate. I stay in the company's lodge and we don't allowed strangers inside the compound so he had to wait for me outside the gate.

This is the picture we took together when he came. If u read my yesterdays post you will know and recognise this face. He is Neche the friend I fondly call cheche. He was about going and I decided to see him off but he said he was craving akara and bread for breakfast and I immediately started craving same 😋🤤😁

I took more pictures of him just for memory sake, I'm glad whenever I could make someone smile. When he left I started sourcing for akara and bread, I went to a popular woman by the road that sells akara and bread but she didn't have bread so I decided to wait for her to go and get the bread and sliced it because I jst needed something I could finish that morning. I paid her for bead two slices ₦800 and Akara ₦400 which was ₦1,200 total.

This is the picture of the bread and akara, I called my friend if he was still interested in buying akara he said no because he couldn't get cash and no place to withdraw due to the lockdown 😭 I surprised him with akara and bread and he was very happy 😁

This is what it looks like, very delicious.

Akara is made with blended beans and little water, ingredients like onions, salt and fresh pepper is added, and it is deep fried in Groundnut oil till golden brown.

This is when I was waiting for my friend and I had already started eating mine. I couldn't wait because the cravings were high. The akara was still hot and the bread was soft so I really enjoy it.

This was when I was about having the last bite, my friend called that he was at the gate to collect the akara and I quickly stood up to attend to him.

He was so surprised and shocked because he never expected that and he didn't believe he will eat akara and bread this morning. I am glad I could make someone happy and my day was well spent.
