The Diary Game: Attending My cousin's Child's blessing And Other Engagement || 06/07/2025||

Greetings to you all my steemians and happy new weekend,it a beautiful thing sharing in others joy,as there celebrate their daughter.
So I was so excited to be among them,let me share with you my activities.

In the morning,it was a wonderful traditional pattern of doing things in preparation of my cousin child blessing,as the village woman, friends and love ones came out in their number to share in the joy and also assist her and the mother in cooking. So I was also there helping them to do one or two things in making the event a successful one, that morning was cooking of different delicacies, setting canopies and arranging chairs women were full in the compound, every person helped us doing on or two in preparation of rhe first daughter of Uncle's child blessing.

They cooked different kinds of food,rice, Soup, preparing FOFO,, a lot of women came out assisting to do this preparation, they still used the ancient days method of cooking, people will come out with their pot and firewood and set up fire point to cook, not now that catering work has taken over everywhere.

After that,by 10 O'clock AM,the mother of the child was in preparation going to church,we the family members also changed up immediately and joined her the n the Apostolic Church Of Nigeria Oku-Iboku Area Itu local Government Area Akwa Ibom State Nigeria.
It was a colorful event as the baby and the mother were first dressed up and others followed.

At the church,we meet other people there and the child dedication was to take place by 1 pm as the morning church activities where ongoing.
While the church morning service activities were ongoing, friends and love ones were also coming into the church for the child blessing prepare.

In the afternoon,I was in the church as the child blessing started, the pastor in-charge take over the pulpit and feed the congregation with a little word of wisdom from the Bible, after that he call on the both families that of husband and the wife to come out with the baby, and he didn't take any time as he pronounced the child blessing,I covered the event with my device.

That afternoon was a different one entirely as the church was filled with members and visitors who came in respect to the celebration, people appreciate the occasion in kind and in cash making the atmosphere of the celebration a beautiful one.

The evening activities was beautiful as I was given a duty to announce that every one that came for rhe occasion should move to the.wife's compound because it is the doctrine,every first born most be taken by her mother. So everywhere was full with people, and I have a corner that I sat down refresh my self during entertainment moment.

The outside enjoyment was also fantastic as people were full of excitement as they share with the mother of the baby.
I was also taking coverage of the ongoing activities there,.

By 6:46 pm, the occasion was closed as I shot down my device, and go home, that was a great opportunity to help and share with a love one and a family member.
