The Diary Game: Preparing My Family's Best Meal And Attending To Customers 19-06-2025

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, it is your friend @joychi102 and today I will be talking about a day I so much love. Firstly please let me apologize for not being here, we have been on blackout for over a week now and nowhere to charge my phone, I was only able to travel out of my community to go and get my phone charged so that I can use for steemit so the stress is not easy.

Friday was an eventful day, I woke up feeling like giving my family the best so I started with the kids favourite meal which is spaghetti and egg sauce, not that they asked for it but I read something somewhere before I slept Thursday night and I wanted to practicalise it at home so I made them their favourite and they ate it to school. I gave them some for lunch in school.

After they went to school, I also bath and went to the store to open it because it was late already and the rain was drizzling so I rushed to the shop to open it so that my customers will not come and start looking for my whereabout.

When my kids came back from school, I was still in the shop so I gave them key and told them where their lunch was and asked them to take their bath and also make sure they don't scatter their room or the kitchen.

When they came back to the shop we stayed together because daddy went to the big market to buy things for the store, we took selfies, but I liked this one especially as my daughter was leaning on me, it felt like I needed to do more for them, I promise them to make sure they have a better life more than myself.

I was still in the shop when our garri supplier came back from Atam where she do go to buy garri in a big truck, I was so happy because I know we will have garri to sell as the last garri she supplied us was getting close to finishing. Anyways, I helped her pay the offloaders for her and also I know she will give me garri in bags at a discounted rate like she always do.

In the evening when hubby came back, he told us to go back home that he will take care of the store, we went back home and I bought fish and okra to prepare okra soup for the family, when I got to the house I removed the hot leaf and other ingredients that needed to be washed and washed them before putting them in the pot.

After washing the items, I washed the okra and sliced them in a round shape because this is how my husband likes it and my kids always like removing okra and be eating like meat or fish while eating though personally I don't like it but I have to do what everyone in the house wants.

When I finished cooking the soup, I dished the soup and gave my kids and they ate theirs, I had to wait for my husband to come back before we ate together and we took our bath. My husband went to bed but I was still up and measuring pepper for sales the next day.

I was listening to gospel message while measuring the pepper till midnight, I was done with measuring pepper, I took my bath again and joined hubby then the day went by smoothly. I appreciate everyone who took out time to go through my diary, God bless you.
