Rate my Creative Designs// A busy day at the Office.

Today was a busy day at the office, filled with the usual array of tasks; typesetting, photocopying, printing, and passport printing. However, what made the day truly remarkable were the three major design projects I had the privilege of working on.

Each of these projects held a special significance, as they were all funeral designs, crafted to honour the memories of loved ones who had passed on.

The first design that I created was the funeral poster for the Late Obong (Sir) Patrick A. Ekong. This esteemed individual had lived a long and fulfilling life, and passed away at the ripe age of 80.

As I worked on the design, I ensured that every element reflected the respect and dignity that this remarkable man deserved and the detective of his son, Utomobong who gave me the job.

The brownish, reddish and golden colours gave the design a perfect match and fantastic finishing. The poster will serve as a poignant reminder of his life, as friends and family will gather to bid him farewell at his compound in Ikot Obong Minya, Mkpat Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The Second Design

In addition to the poster, I also designed a sticker in memory of the Late Sir Patrick. This sticker will be pasted on the souvenirs that will be distributed to those who attended the funeral, serving as a keepsake to remember him by.

I poured my heart into crafting a design that will do justice to his memory, and I was pleased with the outcome.

The last Design for the day

The third and final design of the day was another funeral poster, this time for the Late Hon. Michael Sebastian Etukakpan. Born in 1970, he had lived a life filled with purpose, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by those who knew him.

As I worked on the design, I strived to capture the essence of his life, choosing a black background, white and gold colours text to bring out the picture of the deceased. Ensuring that the poster will be a fitting tribute to his memory.

The funeral will take place at his compound in Essene, Ikot Abasi Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, and the poster will be posted online to serve as a reminder to the sympathisers. I felt a sense of pride and satisfaction. Each design had been crafted with care and attention to detail, and I hope that they will bring comfort to those who are grieving.
