THE DIARY GAME | 05-08-2025 | A DAY OF SADNESS WITH MY BIKE'S BATTERY
Dear Diary,
Hello once again dear steemians, again it is an opportunity for me to share how my day of Tuesday the 5th of August 2025 went. Stay tuned as I unveil how my day was.
I woke up this morning at 3am again, because we had a prayer chain online for the church. I sat up and walked around a while to make sure that sleep stayed clear from my eyes. Then I went to my chair and sat, began to worship God and then engaged in prayer using the prayer point sent to us individually.
When the prayer was over, I tried to sleep again but I couldn't, so I took advantage to write a post here before going to bed. Hoping that I'll get tired and eventually sleep off while looking for inspiration. But I didn't until I finally posted and found a little sleep at 5am. So I rested again and my alarm had to pull me out of the bed again by 6:30am.
I left the bed, went to the bath and took a fresh bath, brushed up my teeth and cleaned myself up for work. As I stepped out of my door at 7:15am, I mounted the bike and noticed that I left my headlamps switched on after I worked okada yesterday. My whole battery we t down and I couldn't use the hand starter to start the bike. Infact none of the electric appliances of the bike could give. So I began to kick the bike using the leg start.
Finally it started and I headed to work immediately making sure that the bike doesn't quench on the road, if not "I for see shege". I arrived work at 7:45am due to the fact that I had to start the bike at home with so much stress.
While I cleaned my work space waiting for patients, my mind kept ringing about the battery which is totally down and I'll need to get a new battery for the bike which won't cost less than 8000frs. Patients were no where to be found, while I waited for them too I kept thinking on the issue. Then finally my intern got in and greeted me. We exchanged pleasantries and then our first client came.

As you can see today I got a lab coat, I got it from my home since yesterday I couldn't work with it. We continued having patients but not that much thought. Morning came and passed and it was afternoon yet I received just 3 patients in my laboratory. So I profited of the time to chat with someone whom I value so much. We had a very long discussion and then we separated.
It was already close to closing time, 4pm and I had to rush home to prepare for the service of today at church before heading to church. I remember I had to polish my shoes beforehand in the mor ing to avoid any form of delay. So I rushed home, put on my church clothes and ready for church I was.
I rushed to church and the service had already began with prayers at 4:15pm that I got in. We got into the church and then Papa came in and began to teach us. The title of the message was, Navigating By the Glory it was an amazing message and very inspiring. After he finished we prayed for a while and then everyone departed for their various homes at 7pm.
I had to carry some people back to their homes before reaching mine. Though my battery was giving me hard times, I could help with what I had.
I arrived the house and of course I had to prepare something to eat, thank God one of our mothers on church came with groundnuts for me which were boiled ones. I got myself some bread from the road and made tea inorder to reduce the cough that I had.

After the meal, I chatted up with some people online and then viewed some videos online, switched the data off and then prayed and went to bed direct, calling up for sleep with the message preached in church today playing on my woofer inorder to be up and running for Wednesday which was an ANC day.
