The Diary Game: Having A 'Me Moment' (07/09/2025)
Some days, I just decide to give myself a special treat. I know I am a busy person, but then I can't be so busy that I get to forget about 'me moments.'
I haven't really gone out since I came back from the off-season vacation, so today there wasn't going to be any form of training. I called one of my friends and asked if she was free to go out with me today; unfortunately, she wasn't free today, and I really had to go alone. Of course, it's a me moment, and spending it alone was the deal.
My morning wasn't much because I was preparing for an afternoon-evening outing. I had my breakfast and then slept off. When I stood up, I watched the TV and played a soccer game on my phone.
When it was 3pm, I had a date with myself, so I dressed up and left the house. I dropped off at a bar I had picked; I was ready for the moment. Somehow I just wanted it to be something I would always remember. I went to the bowling side of the bar. I was handed the bowl, and this was going to be the first time I ever did this. I was directed by one of the bartenders; the guy was actually nice, and I understood the game and flowed with it.

When I was tired of bowling, I ordered pizza and small chops with drinks—all these for me, yo! I ate like my whole life depended on it. I know somehow you will ask me if I finished all of these chips alone. Yes, if I had wanted to eat the chips alone, I would've done that, so I called one guy that was sitting at the other end to join me. I ordered a bigger tray, and we ate it together.

When I finished, I returned back to the bowl with the guy. I guess he was going through a thing or two, so I just had to do that to cheer him up. We bowled together, and then I went back home when it was late. I decided to have another drink, and then I went back home afterwards.

Today was another day I would be proud to say I lived through happily. Friends, the pressure of life will come; it will always be there as a matter of fact. Don't sink in; always find a good time and celebrate yourself. You have done so much for yourself irrespective of your situation. I did that today, and I am satisfied. Stay jiggy, guys.

I'm just being dear, having a me moment is the best thing to do especially in a world where there's so much noise and competition. One needs to set aside time to get away from the noise and competition, and sit down to reason his or her life and the way forward.
