MORNING

Hi everyone in the steemit ecosystem, if you are in Uyo, Akwa Abasi Ibom state, how is the weather treating you? For me ,mine was not something to write about but I have over come it.
Ok I'm here to tell my people how the sunny rainy day went in my place of work. My kids had traveled on vacation so I am left alone to carry out house chores, carry the baby, attend to my businesses , still go to work for holiday duty.

So after the house chores, I left for school where I was busy doing my duties. Sharing admission forms. Today I registered 4 new students for the next academic session and 5 students for lessons.
Due to the fact, that some teachers did not show up, i entered the class and taught the junior session basic science and technology.
The topic I taught them was : Living things and non living things.
My lesson notes:
Topic: living things and non living things
Meaning: living things are those things that have life in them. Examples are: human beings, plant, animals, insect etc while non living things are those things that do not have life in them e.g table, board, pen, book , chair , bags etc
Characteristics of living things
M
R
N
I
G
E
R
D
M is for movement
R is for respiration
N is for nutrition
I is for irritability
G is for growth
E is excretion
R is reproduction
D is for death
I went on to explain:

  1. Movement: Every living things can move from one place to another like animals. Plant moves but not what you can see but maybe with their parts of the body. They can move for defense, to search for food, for mating partner.

  2. Respiration: It has to do with the breathing in of oxygen and out of carbon dioxide gas from organisms. Animals take in Oxygen and send out carbon dioxide while plants takes in carbon dioxide and send out Oxygen.

  3. Nutrition is the process of taking in food into the body to give energy

  4. Irritability is the ability for an organism to sense and respond to touch

  5. Growth is an irreversible change or increase in size of organisms

  6. Excretion: is the removal of waste products that is not needed or no longer useful in the body.

  7. Reproduction: is bringing in of offspring of the same species in continuation of life.

  8. Death: all living things will die at the due time after fulfilling their purpose.

I went on to tell the students differences between living things and non living things then I concluded the class and went back to registration where I was at exactly 12:03pm.

AFTERNOON

I handed over the form when I was about to leave secretary, since everyone had left behind myself and 2 other teachers. So we locked up everywhere and returned the keys for the next day.

EVENING

While on my way home, a customer called and I boarded a vehicle instead of trekking. I attended to the customer and she was satisfied with other persons that came around. I left for the house. I got back safely and attended to the family, prepared meals and serve myself and baby at exactly 7:00pm and we entered bed. Though we didn't sleep but rather I had to reflect on everything that happened in the day. I loved how the day went, it was a wowwww. The day was fulfilled and I'm happy about that. I thank God for that.

Have a nice time reading!!
