UAE beats Bangladesh by 7 Wickets and won the T-20 Series |The World of Sports|
Greetings, sports-loving Steemians. How are you? I hope you are fine and well. Bangladesh's National Cricket Team is now in the United Arab Emirates to play a three-match T20 Series. In the second match, the UAE won and created history. They sealed their first-ever victory against Bangladesh in the T20 format. After the first match performance, I was so sure that they would do something incredible. I was right, and they proved it in the second match. But what they did in the last was incredible! They were just playing with Bangladesh like adults play with children.
In the last match, UAE won the toss again. Third time in a row. Just like the previous time, they invited Bangladesh to bat first. 1st match Centurian Emon hit a Golden-Duck. Towhid Hridoy out with Silver-Duck. Tanzid, Liton, and Jakir succeeded in scoring double-figure runs amongst the so-called batsmen and all-rounder. Tanzid was out after scoring 40 runs. Jakir was standing till the 16th over and fought back. At one point, in the 18th over, I thought Bangladesh might fail to score 100+! Thanks to Jakir and lower-order, they managed a big score of 160+! Or the UAE captain wanted Bangladesh to score 150+ runs. For an unknown reason (For Me), he came to bowl the last over. He gave 23 runs from his legal 5 deliveries. Haha. The only reason Bangladesh crossed 150+!
All the UAE bowlers were spectacular. Especially, Haidar Ali was the top of them. He was the reason for Bangladesh's broken bones. At his first over, he took two wickets, the wickets of Liton and Hridoy, and at that point, Bangladesh was clueless. Matiullah Khan and Saghir Khan got 2 each, and Parashar and Akif Raja got 1 each.
The UAE Captain Waseem's departure in the second over was the only happiness for Bangladesh in 2nd innings. Though Bangladeshi bowlers got 2 more wickets, none of them brought joy to the Bangladesh side. UAE dominated the full match and won it in style! Alishan Sarafu was not out with 68 runs from 43 balls. Zohaib(29), Rahul(13) and experienced Asif Khan (41 from 26) helped them won the match by 7 wickets.
I have nothing to say about the match apart from the effort and dominance of the UAE. They are on the right track. I wish them the Best of Luck. I want to thank them for reminding BD players who they are! A baseless team with enourmus support which they don'd deserve.
