RE: Keep working, stop paying. #14

Well, the only thing better about cryptos is that they cannot be easily inflated (accept for that bankster-like coin) They have rules that are easily known, and accounting is almost automatic.

Transparency is the most essential feature.

It will allow the future generations to see where things are failing.
Bank prints money (but no one sees it) prices go up, (people see that) and then people blame the businesses. Its because they cannot see that first step. And, it is well hidden for a reason.

After we have transparency, then we can start working on creating a currency that works. All money should be based on labor. But not any kind of labor, but labor that others find beneficial to society.

So if I make a widget, it has no value until I sell it. We could, instead of selling it for cryptos, we could create the cryptos at the time of sale, because that is where the value was actually created. Then those cryptos should be extinguished when I go and exchange it for something else, that I give value to.

It will happen. Hey, cryptos have only been with us a decade.

Sort:

Cryptos as they are now are somewhat dependent on fossil fuel prices no? If oil prices skyrocket it must have an effect. All this blockchain computing needs energy, correct?

Ummm, its only sorta correct.

  1. the banking industry uses more electricity by FAR then all of the cryptos combined.
  2. the internets are being paid for regardless of cryptos flying around.
  3. fuel prices will only go up if something big happens in the middle east.

The reason that banks are looking into block chain is because it is far more energy efficient, time efficient and offers complete redundancy.
The entire stupidity of the meme that bitcoin uses more energy than X.
Well, they didn't do their math correctly, and they failed to point out most of the areas on the map still burn tallow candles for light. Solar panels and equipment have to packed in on donkeys.

Yes, I get why we are headed to freedom for numbers of people that have never seen it before, but I wonder why we would stop with crapitalism.

Do millionaires really have to do the dirty work of trillionaires before we figure out that the rock we are on doesn't just belong to trillionaires?
Or that we will never be on top?

Better, I think, to cut to the chase and just work for free and consume for free, but with a commitment to the general welfare of all rather than the few.

Doesn't everybody want the world to be a 'better' place?
If we build the factories, the workers will come.
