कुछ सब्जियां ऐसी हैं जिन्हें आप अपने घर में उगा सकते हैं। आप भिंडी के बीज को 10 से 15 इंच के गमले में बो सकते हैं और कुछ दिनों बाद भिंडी आने लगती है लेकिन उसके लिए सबसे ज्यादा जरूरी है कि आपके पास किस तरह की मिट्टी है। जितनी अच्छी मिट्टी होगी उतनी ही अच्छी पैदावार होगी। आपको बीज बोने की विधि पता होनी चाहिए जिसमें आप 7 इंच की दूरी पर बीज बोएं या फिर घर के अंदर और बाहर लगा रहे हैं क्योंकि दूसरे मामले में अगर समय पर सिंचाई हो जाए तो सब्जी भी अच्छी आती है। आप इसे एक हफ्ते बाद खाद दे सकते हैं इससे सब्जी अच्छी आ सकती है। भिंडी पर कीड़ों का भी हमला होता है इसलिए इनसे बचाव के लिए आप दवा का छिड़काव कर सकते हैं। जब भी आपकी भिंडी के बीज 2 से 5 इंच तक बढ़ जाएं तो उन्हें काट लेना चाहिए। इससे आपके पौधे पर फिर से नई सब्जियां आने लगती हैं प्रयास करने के बाद ही हम जान पाएंगे कि हम किसमें सर्वश्रेष्ठ हैं।
