The people's caravan reminds me of the Free Tea Bus (written by Idyllwild) that is run by a friend of ours and is operating in the gift economy for many years now, quite successfully. It is a big inspiration for the trend that Homesteaders Co-op is taking towards a gift economy. Thought you might find that article inspiring.

Oh wow that reply made me really happy @sagescrub, I always try to let go of the fear of judgment to write from the heart. I think it comes out with more integrity!
Thank you so much for the article Idyllwild wrote it sounds lile I will enjoy it for sure. A big YES to the gift economy... Besides the massive amounts of art there is to see at Burning Man, I think I love it there because the experience relies heavily on gifting.

I feel you on that. I try to let go of those fears when I am conscious of them. Its not always easy. Your post is a great example and inspiration :) Yeah! I look forward to bring more of that gift economy to HSCO as we evolve! Lots of ideas... now to put them into action :)
