By the time I had run upstairs and back for my camera (I dream of the day I don’t have to run stairs anymore) it had already started to rise again. It sure looked like it was coming down in our back 40.

In the few seconds I had to snap these photos, it rose to above Mt. Warner behind it.

And 30 seconds later it was behind the trees on the left and out of sight.
