Since I often find it in my yard, all my suburban neighbors have small dogs, and there are coyotes in an orchard nearby, I'm going to say yup, that's coyote. I'd love to hear from someone who knows for sure though.

When I showed Melissa she said she thought she's heard them recently. I think the fur is the giveaway. Glad we have a good fence, I don't think they'll be a danger to the chooks.
Only if they are outside free ranging. Our coyotes sit and watch us work during the day....
